Hello Team,
I have come across a field "Asset operation" on Purchase Order form.
I checked but did not get any usage of that field in Docs.
Please someone explain the usage of this field.
Thank you

Hello @Asmita7 ,
The "Asset Operation" field on the Purchase Order form in ServiceNow is used to define the operation that needs to be performed on the asset associated with the purchase order. This field is typically used when purchasing assets that require specific operations such as installation, maintenance, repair, or disposal. The available options in this field may vary depending on your organization's specific configuration and requirements.
For eg :
Let's say your organization has purchased a new computer that needs to be installed and configured before it can be used by an employee. The purchase order for the computer would include details about the asset including its type, model, and serial number. In addition to these details, the "Asset Operation" field on the Purchase Order form would be set to "Install". This would indicate that the asset needs to go through an installation process before it can be considered ready for use. Once the installation is completed, the status of the asset could be updated in ServiceNow to reflect that it is now available for use by the employee.
Hope this clears your doubt.
Thanks
