The key factor is the location of your Medepay devices in relation to your core. The further you get from your core or have gates like facilities based firewalls the more advanced your solution architecture is going to look. Ideally you would have a passive asset discovery, tracing and monitoring solution that does not require agents. However, deploying agents will make more sense given your network topology and inter office network setup.
