How is your organization defining Products in ServiceNow and how is that connected to Agile

I'd be interested in anyone out there who has defined what products are in their SNOW environment and how they are managing products (product catalog) as it relates to the Agile modules? We need to define products and would appreciate some inputs on how others have done it.

I'd be interested to learn how other academic medical centers, health care organizations, and/or Epic customers have:

  1. Defined what they constitute as Products in their organization?
  2. How they are managing those Products as it relates to ServiceNow's Agile 2.0 module (Agile 2.0 > Product Catalog)?

Are your Products aligning to:

  • Epic and/or IT applications (e.g. entries in your Application Services or APM catalog)?
  • Clinical and operational business service lines (e.g. Business Units)?
  • Business value streams?
  • Something else?

We need to define Products in our organization and would appreciate some inputs on how medical institutions others have done it in theirs.

Hi Etta, yes we are licensed but we have not rolled it out yet.

Etta, apologies but I found out we are not licensed for APM. I am not sure if this changes your answer but just wanted to clarify.
