I'd be interested in anyone out there who has defined what products are in their SNOW environment and how they are managing products (product catalog) as it relates to the Agile modules? We need to define products and would appreciate some inputs on how others have done it.

Hello Lori,
Although you haven’t fully implemented APM, it’s helpful to tie the products to the business applications while you are defining the products in Agile. I’m going to use Epic Willow as an example.
First, you want to define Epic as a platform host. Create a business application named Epic and make the architecture type Platform Host. You want to define who in IT owns Epic and who the Business Owner of the Epic platform is. Next, create a business application named Epic Willow and make the architecture type Platform Application. You want to define who in IT owns Epic Willow and the Business Owner of Epic Willow.
Go to Agile Development>Products.
Create New. The name will be Epic Willow. The product owner will be who owns Epic Willow from the business side. Save the record. Now you have the related list at the bottom. I added the group that will support Epic Willow and you can see I added 5 stories.
This is an extremely high-level overview. I would be happy to set up a meeting to go into more details.

Etta, Thank you so much for sharing this information! I'd love to set up a time to go over more details, given also that we do not have APM (not licensed for it). My direct email is lori_gacioch@urmc.rochester.edu.
