As I explore Performance Analytics reporting after my Fundamentals course, it seems like a million-acre forest of indicators and widgets…difficult to find the trees with good fruit. I am looking for a peer contacts…other healthcare organizations that are using or want to use Performance Analytics. Maybe there is a group that meets monthly to discuss this topic? If not, I would be happy to coordinate an informal discussion on a monthly basis. It would be nice to see what other organizations are doing! Practical/Useful dashboards for stakeholders (agents, managers, executives). Thanks for reading this post!

Hi everyone. Thank you for bringing this topic up. We are working to plan content for the SNUGs in Memphis and Louisville (2/13 and 2/6 respectively) and this would be great to dive deeper into. There are loads of C-level dashboards available OOB, and then we can dive into how to actually use PA so that it is meaningful. Would this be helpful? Also, anyone that is close, or willing to travel is more than welcome to join.

If you are planning to leverage PA, my first recommendation would be to start attending the ServiceNow Performance Analytics Academy sessions (Platform Analytics Academy - Future & Prior Sessions). The most important aspect to wrap your head around is that PA allows you to perform reporting at a point in time, which cannot be done with regular reporting. This point in time does add a layer of complexity because now you need to think about when that snapshot (data capture) needs to occur. The PA training available on now learning is really helpful. And then just starting to use PA and attending the academy sessions and viewing prior recordings was the most helpful. I'm happy to answer questions as well and if there is some online meetup would be happy to attend.
ServiceNow is also making a transition to the inline reporting tool that may enable you to perform some reporting features using regular reporting instead of PA. PA does add a layer of complexity and is why many find it intimidating at first but its really not that complicated.

I would like to be involved as well. University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC) has been using foundational PA reports for some reporting needs and are just starting to exploring customizing/editing PAs now.
