Create HR Case from Interaction

We have from OOB the Create HR Case in the Interaction record. But when clicking on it and saving the case, it doesn't get associated with the initial interaction (no record in the Interactions related list). I have compared the Action Assignement in my PDI and it all seems to be identical to our instance. Also, the contact_type does not get populated.
And I was wondering if there would be any way to copy the chat transcript from the interaction to the newly created hr case, for example to the description field?

OOTB if you create a HR case from Interaction record, you get the Original Interaction attached to the HR case, see below:
