Hi,
In the HR Service I have configured both fields as follows:
Default for opened for/approver
Default for subject person/task assigned to
In record producer in ESC I select "opened for" as logged in user (for example System admin), I see on the details tab correct fields based on "Default for opened for/approver"
However, when "opened for" person will be different (e.g. Abraham Lincoln instead of System admin), I only see on details tab "Short description".
When I impersonate that user (Abraham Lincoln), I see on details tab fields based on "Default for subject person/task assigned to".
Is this the correct process of displaying fields on the details tab on portal?
Why do I only see "Short description" and not fields like "subject person", "opened for" etc. as configured in "Default for subject person/task assigned to".

Hi @miro2,
To confirm, you do not see the Person Row details (Opened for, Subject person, Assigned to) on the HR Case from Employee Center if you are a user (e.g., System Administrator) that is not one of those three (i.e., System Administrator is not the Opened for, Subject person, or Assigned to). Is that correct?
This person row visibility is controlled by the HRM Case Info widget OOB (set on the Standard Ticket Configuration module). The widget is calling the hr_PortalUtil script include to validate if the user is the Opened for or Subject person to display that info.

Hi @Susan Britt
Thank you for your reply. If that's how it works, then it's fine.
I'm curious — do you know where the configuration is to display only the short description in this case? I've tried to find it, but with no luck.

Hi @Susan Britt
yes, so I see how it works, if I'm not Opened For, Subject Person or Assigned To, then I only see the short description on the Details tab. That makes sense.
Thanks again.

I am attempting to do something similar but make it visible for members of the watchlist, any advice?
