Does anyone use ServiceNow for talent management or career profiles?

We currently use ServiceNow for IT Service Management, but our HR department is looking for something to help manage talent management activities. They want associates to create a career profile (with associate education, experience, and career aspirations) and then have their supervisors add private information, such as if the associate is ready for a promotion, or if they would be a good fit in leadership.  The goal is that HR would be able to pull reports to identify good internal candidates when critical positions open.

I'm sure this can all be configured, but, has anyone done something similar? I was hoping something would be available out of the box, but I'm not as familiar with the HR module and I can't find this topic anywhere else.

Any thoughts or feedback would be appreciated!

Renee,

This would be custom at present and require a good bit of scripting to allow managers to display only their employees (and employees to only be able to access the pieces of their record they are allowed to modify). 

You could open up the form only at certain periods each year.  If left open all the time for employee updates, I would suggest having a last updated record date/time for the employee piece and the manager's pieces so you know both have been reviewed based on latest additions.

It is very doable, I would caution good test plans to ensure only the proper people can access any employee hiring data.
