Employee Relations - Allegations Types and Allegation Subtypes

Good Afternoon, we are trying to modify the Employee Relation Allegation Types and Allegation Subtypes.  When you make the Allegation Type set to False, the Allegation type or subtype is still listed.  Do you have to delete the item completely in order for the selection to not be useable?  As it doesn't seem like a best practice to delete the item.

That is definitely a bug. The part where inactive allegation types were available was fixed in PRB1520945 (targeted for the upcoming San Diego release).

The inactive SUB types being available was not fixed though. I just created PRB1551444 to address that. If you end up creating a case with support, they should reference these two PRBs.

If you want to fix this yourself, and you are admin, you can right click on the field while on an allegation, select "Configure dictionary", then add a reference qualifier of "active = true". I've attached two screenshots to illustrate.

Hi Melanie B.

Yes, do not delete.  You will need to go into the subtypes and set active to false.

Hello - even with both the Allegation and the Allegations Subtype inactive, the information is still available from the drop downs. Please see the screen shot for reference.

Hi Tom! This is the correct answer! And I appreciate the timely response.  @Mike Reed did mention PRB1520945 but not the second.

Thank you both @Mike Reed and Tom for your help with this as we go through our ER implementation reason.

Thanks, Melanie
