How to Restrict Specific Widgets Dashboard for Certain User Groups in HR Agent Workspace Dashboard?

Hi Community,

I'm working on an  dashboard and I need to hide specific widgets for users who belong to certain user groups.

I created a Client Script that checks the user's group membership and attempts to hide the following widgets:

  • Emoji-Driven Satisfaction Metrics Report

  • Survey Feedback
    is their any better way to any way to achieve this functionality.

Why a client script? Just don't share the report with the groups that you don't want to share them with. 

Or create a separate dashboard (which prevents them seeing widgets without data) from the complete dashboard and share the dashboard(s) based on the group(s).

thanks for reply,
but I want two report that does not showup to one group and for remaining group i want to show all the reports in dashboard.
can you tell me from where I can acheive this?

Hi @Satyam123 ,

 

If you want specific reports to only be visible to certain user/group/role. You can share the it by going to the report configuration and use share option. It will only be visible to targeted user and other's will not be able to see that. However, they will be seeing the report is not visible to them due to security constraint.
