Hello,
I've been trying to get both HR Tasks and HR case in the same LIST on the Agent workspace. It's a tedious process to switch from one list to the other. Is this anything that can be achieved ? I haven't been able to create a custom list with both cases and tasks.
Thank you

Hello Anne,
It is also a bit tedious to create what I believe you are looking for. But from what it sounds like, you want something like this? That way, you can see HR Cases and click on HR Tasks from the same list drop-down?
Before we go through the steps, there are a couple of ways you can get to the UX List list. Platform or UIB for Agent workspace.
First way:
- From the filter navigator type in as much as 'agent work' and then click on UI Builder for Agent Workspace for HR Case Management
- Once the UI Builder loads, click on Experience --> List --> List default
- While there, be sure that List is your choice and Editor is also selected (not settings), and then click on All HR cases (it will not be highlighted when you click on it)
- Then in the lower right-hand corner, click on Configuration
- New tab will load, from here click on Agent Workspace for HR Case Management List Menu Config
- New page will load, and you should see the UX List Menu Configuration form. There should also be two tabs; UX List Categories and UX List
- Here you can create an entirely new List Category, OR, as I did, go under All HR Cases, and create a new List there. For this purpose, we will continue with going into the All HR Cases category. So you can click on that one
- New page loads, and you will see the UX Lists below - there you can click on New and see the following form (my screenshot will be all filled out with what I created already):
Once you create the new List and save the record, refresh your Agent Workspace URL page and you should see the new list you just created (my very first screenshot).
Now the second way, and this is JUST to get to the UX List a bit faster, is we need to create it as a favorite. For some reason, this is not a filterable module to get to (unless I am missing something....)
But, to do that let's do this:
- From the form where you created the new List, right-click on the header menu and select configure table
- From the new form that loads, scroll down until you see the Related Links
- Click on Show List
- Right-Click on UX Lists and create Favorite (this is in case you want to create new Lists or modify existing ones
- Then once you have it saved as a favorite, you have the New button from the list view
Well, I hope this helps you in creating what you are looking to do. If any of this confuses you in the process, let me know and I will try to continue to assist.
Thank you,
-Rob
