In HRSD, how to allow a HR Agent (sn_hr_core.basic)to update the topic category,topic detail and HR Service on the HR Case form

Hi Sush,

You have to check ACL for that, generally it is editable for 'sn_hr_core.case_writer' role and sometimes It will be read only through UI policy or client script. But it is not best practice to change either of fields once case is created. Please talk and try to convince, in case agent wants to change them then they can use 'Transfer Case' functionality. Hi @Sush It is not intended for the Topic Category, Topic Detail and the HR Service to change on the case. Each COE (Table) has its own configurations.

The common practice is to transfer the case to the correct COE/HR Service by using the Transfer case functionality available out of the box in HRSD.
