HRSD notifications

Hi everyone, I have a question. Why add this notification to all the HRSD tables instead of adding it only to the HR Case [sn_hr_core_case] table (the parent table)? Shouldn't the other tables also inherit the notification? Thanks!

There are multiple HR Case Tables belongs to multiple HR Services, Like

 

HRIT Operation Case

HR Payroll Case

 

Thats why it is added to all HRSD tables.

@Samaksh Wani Yeah, but isn't the HR Case [sn_hr_core_case] table the parent table of them all? Is there any inheritance?

HR Case is the parent table, But there are many scenerios in which Case should only reflect to specific HR services in that case, there should be the triggering of notification happens only for that HR service case, thats why it is tagged to multiple tables belonging to HR services.

yes it's parent, but for each HR table it is belonging to particular HR Service

For example for payroll it's HR Payroll case table, for rewards it's different table

whenever a HR case is created it's created for particular HR Service and it gets inserted into the child table

So each table has it's own notification to have different contents so that it becomes easier to maintain the emails
