Is the Delegate functionality in HR Profile, carry across modules?

In the HR Profile an employee can identify a delegate.  Does this functionality cross platforms, i.e. to ITSM where the delegate would also be applied?

I didn't see any delegation specific to HR in the docs, so I think that HR is using the standard Service Delegation available throughout the platform which would also apply to ITSM, etc.

Hi @Margo Halverson,

The HR Profile in HRSD does not have Delegation OOB. I am unsure what you are referring to so cannot give much detail on how this works when we are not delegating HR records in the current version. If you can include a print screen of what you are referring to, that will help.

Hi Michael - I have a dev instance in Orlando and it has some delegate functionality on the HR Profile page.   Some one had previously sent me this link with information which is how I found it.

I am not clear with the Dev instances if it is all OOB or if it has customizations.

Hi Margo. That is the User record which is separate from the HR Profile. The HR Profile itself does not have a delegate selection on the form.
