My library Knowledge Sources To Go is very popular, but it was intended mainly as a thematically grouped guide to standard sources and was provided by me as a PDF file. For certain topics, however, there is so much content that I can no longer include it in that document, as it cannot continue to grow forever.

What is HR Service Delivery?
ServiceNow Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) is a suite of applications that streamlines HR processes by automating interactions, cases, and workflows on a single, unified platform from hire to retire, which significantly improves the employee service experience and HR efficiency. It provides a modern Employee Center portal where employees can easily access information, submit requests, and track progress, while HR Case and Knowledge Management standardize how inquiries are documented, routed, and resolved across HR functions. By integrating with existing HR systems and leveraging capabilities like mobile access, virtual agents, and Now Assist generative AI, HRSD enables omni-channel, self-service experiences that reduce manual work, shorten resolution times, and free HR teams to focus on strategic activities. The product also supports complex cross-functional journeys such as onboarding, transitions, and employee lifecycle events, ensuring consistent, secure, and compliant delivery of HR services at scale across the enterprise.

It can automatically summarize HR cases and chat histories, generate resolution notes when cases are closed, and even draft knowledge articles based on resolved issues, helping teams capture and reuse knowledge with minimal manual effort. Within Agent Workspace and Core UI, HR agents use the Now Assist panel to quickly grasp context from prior interactions and actions, which reduces handling time and improves consistency in responses across topics such as payroll, benefits, or employee data changes. Combined with Virtual Agent and Employee Center, Now Assist also supports more conversational self service by using AI driven summaries and answers so that employees get relevant information and outcomes quickly while HR teams benefit from higher productivity and better quality documentation.
