Hi All,
Has anyone completed the Lab 03.01 - Create Voluntary Separation Lifecycle Event, please so can you share how can I commit update sets for Voluntary Separation with 'State' as- Previewed (In Batch) as I cant find 'Committed State' with Parent- 'P-Separations'. I am using Global scope.
Kindly suggest. Thanks in advance.

As I said previously and as the lab instructs, you need to resolve the errors by selecting the Accept Remote Update link in the Available Actions column.

Hi @shweta khemani,
When you commit an update set, you will need to preview and then commit it (if there is no error during the preview).
From what is provided in the lab instructions, it's odd that it only asks you to preview and not proceed with the commit. But since you have not committed the parent Update set (P-SeparationsExPack v2.6), you won't be able to find anything by the committed state.
Sharing the entire lab instruction might be helpful here.

Hi James,
Sharing the complete lab instructions.
The filter criteria itself is not working for me to proceed ahead with further steps. Kindly guide.

Hi @shweta khemani,
I don't see in the lab where you need to filter by the state = committed.
It states that you will need to
- open the parent Update Set (P-SeparationsExPack v2.6)
- Preview it
- Resolve its issues by Accept Remote Update)
- Commit it
On second thought, I think I see where you got confused.
Are you referring to the step 3 'filter out Update Sets in a State of Committed'?
It means that you should set the filter to state != committed meaning you don't want to see Update Sets that have been committed.
Hope that makes sense

According to the lab instructions, you would need to open the P-SeparationsExPack v2.6 Update Set and then preview it.
It will throw some errors but you can resolve them by Accept Remote Update
Once it's done, you can commit the update set.
If you read the lab instructions carefully, it's pretty straightforward.
