Hello!
My company (big4) requested my to study for the exam and in general prepare for it. The last time I spent time for such processes was back in 2021. What have changed since then?
Thanks in advance

Hello @jawaser780 !
ServiceNow has fundamentally changed how certification exams work, especially around vouchers, eligibility and retakes. In summary:
- It has eliminated exam vouchers entirely and replaced them with a course-based eligibility model, meaning candidates must complete the correct training before they can even register for an exam.
- Exams are now registered in ServiceNow University and delivered via Pearson VUE, with a strict 90-day window once registration occurs and no refunds if the attempt is missed.
- Several CIS certifications now require CIS-DF (Data Foundation) as a mandatory prerequisite, retake rules have been overhauled with longer waiting periods after multiple failures and while on-demand courses remain free, exam attempts are almost always paid unless included with instructor-led training or limited promotions.
Please consider marking my answer as helpful and accepting it as the solution if it assisted you in any way.
