Question Answer(question_answer) table is storing value in english.

Hello Community,

I have a lookup select box variable which is refering to Choice table. The options of this variables are translated to different language . 

When user from japan is trying to raise case , they are getting all the fields and their options in Japanese.But the records stored in Question Answer value field is in English.

Sharing some screenshot for better reference.

Please guide , how can this be resolved.

this is OOTB behavior.

catalog variables store internal choice values (English) from sys_choice.value not the choice label (Japanese).

You create choice records in other languages for those choices and hence it displays in Japanese to Japanese users.

what's the problem of the OOTB question_answer storing in English?

Question_answer storing in English because of which all the values are being displayed in english after raising the case in portal and also in the description of HR case when viewed in native

OOB only labels are translated not values, what is your expectation here?

The problem here is this that after raising the case, all the values are displayed in english(which should be in japanese) in Description of Hr case.
