How can I Restrict Visibility of HR Knowledge Base Articles to Published Status only(no Draft or Review state) in service portal for users with / without knowledge related roles

Hello @SnehaSaran15 -
Who exactly is seeing unpublished articles from the portal view? If they are users with elevated roles, such as an admin, knowledge admin/manager, they have the access to view articles from the portal if they are in draft status.
You can also check on your knowledge properties and see if there is a property that needs to be changed (if the answer to the above question is anyone can see regardless of role(s)).
Knowledge --> Administration --> Properties:
And check on some of the properties such as:
Overall, if yourself as an admin, or an elevated knowledge role person can see unpublished articles from the portal view, that is OOTB expected behavior.

Thanks for replying.
The property doesn't seem to work.
Also the user has knowledge and itil role . If the user fulfills the User criteria of Can Read and Can Contribute then do they get the privilege to see state of articles in the portal?
