Transfer an HR Case - copy description

When using the OOB Transfer HR Case, everything seems to work well but the description doesn't get updated. Is there a way to change a description based on the COE and HR Service selected?

Hey Tiago,

 

The Description of the case should be copied over from the original case to the new one.  This is so you do not lose any original case details.  Some examples are when cases are created from emails, the case description may contain the email body.  You'd normally want that to be transferred over, so the new agent/team can see that as it may be relevant.  Cases created from record producers in your portal will have all the questions/answers filled out from the record producer in the description. You would not necessarily want to override all of that either.  The leading practice is for that to be copied over.  Then if for some reason (e.g., PII in it), the agents can manually edit the description.  I would not recommend changing this functionality.

@tiagobrito you should be able to do it through a Business rule or editing the existing Transfer UI action
