Hi All,
I am trying to set-up a single global knowledge base.
Our requirement here is to restrict articles:
- To certain groups in one of the country. For ex: Team A articles should not be visible to Team B
- To restrict articles for each of the countries. For ex: Articles for India should be visible only to India Employees, China articles should only be visible to China employees.
We are able to restrict the contribute access, as we have ownership groups for the articles. However, we are not able to restrict the read access using can read and cannot read fields in article.
We have not defined any user criteria on knowledge base level as this is a single knowledge base.
We do not want to have multiple knowledge bases and the count would go up to 50-60 countries that we are supporting.
What will be the best approach to achieve it?

@kalyansonu5 just my 2 cents on this... I feel just one knowledge base for multiple languages and other segregated articles you will be introducing a lot of maintenance. IMHO, I believe you would have more than one (probably a few). Is there a reason why you are opposed to multiple knowledge bases? Here is a great place to start. I feel this will help with the additional considerations to give the best experience and minimize ongoing maintenance.

Mike
