Using checklist template in HR agent workspace

Currently in HR agent workspace you cannot select a checklist template nor you have the option to save your created checklist as a template.

I was able to create a custom solution where you can apply the checklist template by selecting the template from a reference field. But I am looking for a better solution that closely mimics that of the platform.

Has someone implemented a custom functionality similar to how the checklist (formatter) works in platform view?

I was able to achieve this using select component and a custom data resource to create records in checklist and checklist items tables.
