Did you know that ServiceNow offers nearly 450 in-person and on-demand learning options on the Now Learning website, along with opportunities to get certified in numerous competencies? With hundreds of on demand courses, more than 30 instructor-led courses that can be taken in person or in a virtual classroom, nearly 30 online simulators, over 20 certifications, and over 50 recommended paths to follow, there are learning opportunities for almost everyone. Read on to learn about the various online learning options and certifications available.

 

Courses

Explore the ServiceNow portfolio at your own pace with videos, live and recorded webinars, and interactive tools to help you accelerate your learning. Our on-demand courses are offered online, allowing you the flexibility to learn at your own pace from any location where you have access to the internet. If you’re new to ServiceNow and looking to expand your career opportunities, check out Welcome to ServiceNow, a 3-hour on-demand course that introduces you to the company, the platform, and how ServiceNow can help make your world work better. Similarly, if you’re building a team, product-specific fundamentals, implementation, and advanced courses will help increase skills across functions.

 

Live Classes

The virtual, instructor-led options for our popular live classes cover our fundamentals and implementation courses and allow you to take advantage of a live instructor without the expense of travel. Prefer to be in-person to network with other professionals and step away from the screen? We offer select instructor-led classes in person in various geographies to support your learning experience. Simulators

Simulators are a great resource that can deliver hands-on practice with the ServiceNow environment for individuals or teams to get real-world skills. Using what you have learned in associated courses, you can apply your new knowledge in a simulated setting. Simulators help guide your work by providing feedback and recommendations along the way.

 

Certifications

Many of the Now Learning courses and paths lead to certifications, allowing you to test and get recognized for your expertise. As ServiceNow’s portfolio expands and new products are constantly being introduced, we are proud to offer accreditation credentials, including Delivery Accreditations that center around newer products. As these products mature, additional training and credentials may also be released to support you in your learning journey.

 

Micro-Certifications

Micro-certifications validate your expertise in newer or niche areas with online, non-‑proctored exams available free of charge on Now Learning. Getting micro-certifications in specialized areas can help you validate and gain confidence in your unique set of skills.

 

Mainline Certifications

ServiceNow offers a comprehensive certification program and all mainline exams are available to take via a remote, proctored session. ServiceNow Certification exams demonstrate mastery of ServiceNow products and certify that a candidate has the essential skills and knowledge necessary to manage the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the ServiceNow Platform. Once you have a certification you can maintain it through annual Delta exams available in Now Learning.

 

Suite Certifications

Suite Certifications are aggregated certifications that align with product packages and are automatically granted when the required certification set is completed. ServiceNow offers Suite Certifications in IT Service Management, Human Resources, Customer Service Management, and more. 

 

Learning Paths

Learning Paths are role- or product-based, predefined collections of courses and certifications that are presented in a specific sequence, so you’ll have a guided experience to deepen your expertise. Courses, certifications, and exams on each Learning Path are often offered in multiple delivery formats, so you can choose to complete your learning on demand or via an instructor-led course.

 

Career Journeys

As part of the ServiceNow RiseUp movement, we have designed learning journeys tailored to skill individuals to in-demand careers in the ServiceNow ecosystem. Career journeys are holistic guidance that encompass multiple product lines, soft skills, external coursework, and certifications. Career journeys are designed based upon your experience in the role and the skills you need to be successful. We currently offer seven unique career journeys, each with multiple levels of complexity ranging from associate to expert skill.

 

 

Workforce Advancement

If you’re already a customer and are searching for ServiceNow-skilled individuals to build out your platform team, our RiseUp Workforce Advancement program offers job-ready talent through our Academic Partnerships, NextGen, and Placement Partners programs. 65+ Academic Partners teach our technical training content and offer certifications as part of their curriculum or continuing education programs. The NextGen program trains untapped sources of talent through in-house cohorts prioritizing skills-based technical and power skills training in a 10-week hybrid program.
