Hi Everyone,

Could anyone here suggest how to identify recurring incidents or proactive problems in servicenow when CI’s are generic.

Will really appreciate any suggestions or advice.

Before our business had a cmdb database we would analyze trends using category detail or other data provided on incidents and start looking for patterns and trends.  Also working directly with the engineering teams on known bugs will help with identifying issues before they impact end users.

Ultimately, working with your Incident Management team and CMDB team to improve the data they provide would help.
