SOW - Field Decorator on the 'caller' field to a create new caller record

Hello,

 

We know we can create a new record using the + sign on the workspace but a requirement has come in to have a field decorator next to the 'caller_id' field to open a model to create a new user record and add that into the field. 

 

I have looked at declarative action assignments and UX client scripts and client scripts but nothing will allow a pop up. 

 

Has anyone got any advise or has done something similar?

Hi @Bex ,

 

Can you elaborate on your use case for allowing users to create entries directly on user table. This sounds alarming to me as user table is a core foundational data. I hope you have already evaluated this aspect.
