invalid password?

After logging out or letting a developer session lapse, when I try to log in again to my developer instance (dev68618) I get an error saying my password is invalid (it isn't).  This has happened multiple times (sometimes resolves itself later) so today I was very deliberate in resetting the password for the umpteenth time, and verified everything was ok before letting the session lapse.  But once again the error recurred... and often when it happens I'm sent into a password reset loop or even blocked from resetting it outright for a while.

I see other users reporting similar problems so this sounds like something systemic to me... is this being worked on?  Can we get SSO?

For reference: this is with the latest Firefox browser.  I am completely unable to get the developer instance to work on IE or Edge (loaded pages are blank).

Now I don't have the option to login to https://dev68618.service-now.com/ at all using Firefox.  I get a page saying the developer instance is "asleep" and am automatically bounced to https://developer.servicenow.com/app.do#!/home, where the page reloads when I try to log in-- without letting me log in.

Again, this is Firefox.  I can get to the dev instance login page on Chrome, but it erroneously reports my password (the one I just changed yesterday, and documented) is invalid.  IE and Edge don't work at all.

Update:

I tried the password amnesia thing on the dev instance again, in Chrome, then went into my Profile to change the auto-generated password to what I wanted.  I entered the exact same password I had set yesterday in Firefox, and got Change Password Success.  That seems odd, since that's in conflict with typical password change policies.

My suspicion: the password hasn't been getting changed at all, despite the web app saying it has been.

I have the exact same issue, regularly. I am constantly resetting my admin password, logging in with the new password, and changing the admin password to one of my choice. And then the next time I try to log in it says my password is incorrect..
