we have enabled AI search and had the following questions?
1. Can we and should we create personas such as employee, manager and HR in the search profiles to enhance that experience? would that a recommended approach or is advised against?
2. Does AI search override contextual search or they work in parallel? for example, a worker in India should not receive US vacation or PTO results or vice versa? If so, how does AI search handle this?
3. Does user criteria or audience factor in at all in AI search or is that not applicable to this product?

Creating Personas:
In AI Search, it is recommended to create personas such as "Employee," "Manager," and "HR" to enhance the search experience. By setting up personas, search results can be tailored based on the user's role or authority, improving the relevance of the search results. Using personas helps in providing a more personalized search experience for specific user groups.AI Search vs. Contextual Search:
AI Search and Contextual Search generally work in parallel. AI Search uses machine learning and AI to deliver search results based on user intent and context. Contextual Search, on the other hand, provides relevant results based on the user's context, such as location or role. AI Search filters results according to the user's location or role, ensuring, for example, that a user in India does not receive vacation information relevant to the US. Thus, AI Search delivers results that are contextually appropriate, working alongside Contextual Search to provide more accurate results.Impact of User Criteria or Audience:
AI Search takes into account user criteria and audience information. Search results are adjusted based on the user's profile, role, location, etc., meaning that these settings affect the search results. This allows for a more personalized search experience tailored to individual users.

AIS has different configurations for languages, so please review Enabling Multilingual Search with AI Search: Utah Edition. To return documents based on location/country or specific search terms, please review Result Improvement Rules for Global Companies.
