Document Intelligence Problem

Hi all!
I'm currently trying to use Document Intelligence on a demo instance. After setting up a Use case, defining the fields (keys) and creating a document task with attachments the OCR + AI should take over and start extracting the required fields in the document. Somehow the document intelligence tool is not working as shown and explained according to the ServiceNow Documentation.

I've tried several attempts but I can't figure out where the problem comes from. The Error Message in Document Task only shows: "Failed to process the task."

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi,

What type of documents did you upload the documents for extraction on the task? When you clicked on the Process Task button, did it create the associated [ml_solution] record for machine learning, and what is the state of this record?

Regards,

Brian

Hi Brian,

thanks a lot for your help! My use case is for passport and the document I'm uploading is in jpg/pdf.  After clicking Process tasks, a [ml_solution] record is created with the state "training request timed out." As well, several several DocIntel logs are created by the system.

Please see the created system logs and the ml_solution table in the attachments.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Best regards
Vinh

Hi Vinh,

Please check the system property [glide.shared_service_scheduler.url], which should be set to "https://sncmlscheduler.service-now.com/". However, we do not support ML training including DocIntel training on a Personal Development Instance (PDI), and it will never training the solution. Please use a SubPROD or Demo instance to use the ML components.

Regards,

Brian

Hi Brian,

thank you so much for your help! The instance I'm using is actually a ServiceNow Demo Instance. I've checked the system property of [glide.shared_service_scheduler.url] and the value is already set to "https://sncmlscheduler.service-now.com/" as you mentioned above.

Since DocIntel is still not working, do you have any idea or advice on how to continue?

Please see the system property setting in the following attachment.
Thanks a lot in advance!
