The use and licensing of AI Search between different instances

I want to use AI Search to search for knowledge from several instances in the same company.

For example, when someone creates a new case, they write a subject, KB appears below from several instances.

I have a question;  differ in the number of licenses each instance has.

Can we drill down KB or files from instances where we don't have enough licenses?

Where can we access the documents with AI Search?

If we use the unrestricted user model in all instances, we don't have to care about this.

If you have any organized information on the use and licensing of AI Search between different instances, please share it with us.

Thank you for reading my question.

Licensing questions should be directed to your account team, contracts are highly specific to each corporation so the advice is potentially going to be misguided.

AI Search search is based on the calling instance being licensed, not the external instances as they will be considered an external document search repository
