Can anyone share a CMDB Naming Standard document that you have incorporated into your ServiceNow solution that could help Wabtec with our initial loading of our configuration items?

What naming standard you are looking for in cmdb? What wabtec you are referring here? Regards RP

Wabtec is the company I work for.  Naming standards?  Any type of recommendation where naming standards on the different classes would be applicable in providing a means to understand what the CI represents.

Service now has many classes where your ci can be accommodated . Like Linux server will go to Linux class , esx will go to esx classes. You can use service now class manager to know the ci class details and suggested relationship s. As a part of ci build process it must be covered. Ci names which indicates about dc+app+env . Hope I understood your query. Regards RP
