Copying Attachments from Parent to Child

Hello all,

I have a question on how to get all of the parent attachments onto the child automatically.  I currently have made a Business rule on the Parent table.

I feel like there is something obvious that I am missing.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

@Rob when I am using this code, its duplicating attachment on parent too...so say I have 2 attachment on parent table, I am copying it on HR Task table, so now on parent HR Case, there are 4 attachments. I don't want it to copy/add on parent HR case too twice. Can you please advise.

@vikrami - Unfortunately my position was eliminated back in July, so I am unable to get into the instance I had this working with - and I am unable to assist you.

I cannot remember if I had the same issue as you or not as this was some time ago. I am very, very sorry I cannot help.

Copying attachments is not the best idea because it can be difficult to sync the proper files.

Take a look at this article instead - "Related Attachments" Related List
