Hi All,
We are soon to release Discovery into production, but have one issue that I require assistance with.
Last night i ran a full discovery across our estate using a WMI only behavior, because as at present we are just trying to pick up certain servers. This morning it has created/updated a couple of computer ci's.
I'm aware that it picked these up because they were found on the IP's that we were scanning and that computers fall under WMI as well.
Is there a way I can stop it processing computers?

Don't change the Windows classifier table. Those records will just pop up in whatever table you set it to, and if it tries to populate fields that don't exist it could well throw a lot of errors.
Just deactivate the general Windows classifier for the computer table, and then make sure you disable all server/computer SNMP classifiers as well.

Thanks,
I will disable all of the above. I'm just worried about the items that we might now miss when scanning now and going forward.

Alex, have you been successful with excluding computers from your discovery? We are looking to exclude computers as well since they're being imported via SCCM but haven't had success yet.
