Event Management Integration Without vCenter server

Hi Community,

Our VMware Team have confirmed that we do not have a vCenter Server managing the ESXi hosts. Each ESXi host is standalone and has its own IP address.

For ServiceNow Event Management, should we configure a separate connector instance for each ESXi host, or is there a recommended scalable approach for monitoring multiple standalone ESXi hosts?

Any guidance on the recommended architecture and connector limitations would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Are you feeding that information to any other monitoring tool (zabbix, solarwinds) ?

If yes than connecting the monitoring tool will be ideal.

Standalone ESXi without vCenter ins't supported scalable pattern for native connector.

Open a case with support team to see if they have any suggestions.

Hope it helps.

Thank you for your response @Pratiksha  . I was looking multiple vcentre servers (8No's), Then would be creating multiple instances or each server would be an correct practice?

You can do that. It wont be manageable in long run.
