I created an event with 'x' node. I placed that node in the affected CI list of a change.
Whenever the alerts triggers the task was also created for that.
But there is a maintenance rule called "CI in the change window" which stops creating of task.
Can anyone let me know why it was creating the tasks even the was placed in a change request

Hi,
What kind of tasks are you referring to? The mainenance rule will excluded the alerts from impact calculation.

Niklas

The OOTB maintenance rule will not check for affected CI's from the change request. You have to create a new maintenance rule where it will check for affected CI's.

Hello Roopa.. I am working on the Maintenace rules logic to apply MM if a user raises a Change with affected CI's . I have tried the above steps in the screenshot and selected the CIs Affected[task_ci] table but I am not able to see all the below fileds to choose the filter condition .. I can only see the type but not task.type or task.state.. could you please help me on this .how to create a MM rule to fetch the records from the change window affected CI's and based on the planned start time and Planned end time and apply MM on the eventmangement Alerts
