How to discover printers with dynamic IPs

Any idea how to discover dynamic IPs printers using ServiceNow discovery? i cant use IP list or IP range as these are dynamic always changing?

Dear @varunp - to my understanding, DHCP server allocates dynamic IP from a fixed range. So is it that fixed range also keep changing every now and then? Or are you concerned about discovery of the Printer who's IP get changed on every reboot?

Hi @varunp ,

This is typically done with SNMP discovery using the network ranges of the subnets of your local network. You don't need to know the exact ip addresses, just the range they are part of. Of course the smaller the network range the better.
