I am having an issue that I cannot seem to get at the root of. I have servers in my CMDB with Databases that are discovered. At some point they go stale - won't discover anymore. I test in my PDI, and it discovers the databases no problem
If I look in the log - this one is from the MSSql DB on Windows pattern, I see the following
Check For Output Payload Errors
2022-04-27 06:03:11: Identification CI Errors: Update failed with error: Commit was not attempted due to other errors.,Multiple paths leading to the same destination: [class:cmdb_ci_db_mssql_instance, sys_id:990591791b37c050e31b404cbc4bcb2e] -> [class:cmdb_ci_win_server, sys_id:6dbec5271b238014051a2f462a4bcb7c],Too many other errors,Abandoning processing payload item '{"className":"cmdb_ci_db_mssql_database","values":{"database":"Datastore","discovery_source":"ServiceNow","install_status":"1","name":"Datastore","sys_class_name":"cmdb_ci_db_mssql_database"},"internal_id":"36afc03ec30b49d01dd1945a2025409e","sys_object_source_info":{"source_name":"ServiceNow"},"settings":{},"sys_ire_info":{"ire_received_time":"2022-04-27 13:03:11"},"display_values":{}}', since its depends on payload item '{"className":"cmdb_ci_db_mssql_instance","values":{"tcp_port":"53562","instance_name":"BARTENDER","operational_status":"1","running_process_command":"C:\\Program Files\\Microsoft SQL Server\\MSSQL12.BARTENDER\\MSSQL\\Binn\\s
If I delete the database instance from the mssql instance table, I can then successfully rediscover the instance.
Obviously, this is not what I want to do, but was trying to figure out why this is happening, and how to correct.
