Keep being redirected to login --- session has expired

We have an instance that continuously logs the user off. There's not a set time when this happens, it's sporadic. It could happen within 1 minute of logging in to the instance, it could take 10 minutes, sometimes more. In some cases, it's been immediate, you login, it automatically logs you out. Keeps saying "session expired redirecting to login". Anyone else experience anything like this? If so, what might I need to look for to fix the issue? It doesn't appear to be LDAP related, nor do we use the persistent connection checkbox at login (Remember Me).

Click the "Log out" button, clear your browser Cookies and Cache, and restart your browser.


I tried the demo site, and it does the same. So what happens when you're not even logged in? It's just a continual loop.

We also are experiencing this consistently and it is causing a lot of frustration from our I.T. staff. Closing a browswer and clearing cookies does not always fix this issue nor should this be an acceptable fix for an application that they are required to work in all day. We also do we use the persistent connection checkbox at login (Remember Me) due to a mandate from our security administrator.

We had same issue with one user.

When we checked his IE settings he had Privacy set to "block all cookies".

Changing it to medium stopped the loop 🙂
