Latest Licensing Model for Discovery and Service Mapping

Hello Experts,

Does anyone know, what is the current licesing model for Discovery and Service Mapping. There is some information in the community for this topic, but is not for the latest version. I am wondering if it is still valid.

I know it is old , but it can give you an idea abt how licensing cost is calculated , and that I think will be uniform across releases..

Hi,

Interesting to talk on this topic.

1) Discovery and Service Mapping is license based on nodes you discover. 

2) Node can be virtual or physical.

3) Contact your Account Manager from ServiceNow to understand the entitlements or node count you are contracted for and what is cost for it. He is the right person for this.

4) if Discovery and Service Mapping scan one node then still it is one license for you.

ITOM Visibility

The ServiceNow® ITOM Visibility product consists of the ServiceNow® Discovery feature and the ServiceNow® Service Mapping feature, which together give you a unified, connected view of your entire IT network and the services it supports. For licensing purposes, ITOM Visibility provides the count of CIs that it discovers, both during horizontal and top-down discovery. ITOM Visibility reports the count for CIs of the following CI categories: Servers, PaaS, and Containers.
