Hi, we are wanting to capture the kernel firmware information for all of our Linux servers in the server CI. I was wondering what is the recommended location for that information to be stored in the Linux Server CI? The information we are wanting to store is vendor and version of kernel.
Thanks

This attribute of Linux Server is not Discovered OOTB so i do not thinks there is any OOTB Supplied Attribute in Linux Server CI Class.
--> Add Custom Attribute in Linux Server Class in CMDB - Linux Kernel Version
--> OOTB we already have Manufacturer field and CPU Manufacturer Field. If these can not suffice your use case then add custom attribute Kernel Vendor
--> Extend Linux Server Pattern to add above attributes as a part of discovery. How to do it just follow below steps and change the commands for Linux Sever
