Mid server consuming all CPU space

Dear all,

We are facing issue in mid server.

Our mid server is consuming almost all CPU memory.

It is consuming 99-100 percent of CPU memory, when checked OpenJDK and Powershell script are main things which are consuming most of the CPU memory.

When servicenow services stopped, this cpu utilization is drastically reducing to 3-4 percent.

Not sure why mid server service is consuming so much space, and what needs to be done to resolve this issue.

Yes we have discovery, this issue at first we were primarily facing for mid server installed on cloud server. Which is dedicatedly being used for cloud server discovery.

But CPU memory for other servers are also accumulating now.

Hi When we run discovery, then the utilisation most of the time goes to 100% as it makes use of powershell and wmi commands , etc. So service now trigger powershell commands when result is Return it kills the processed powershell command. We have only 25 threads oob so it can execute 25 commands simultaneously. So the utilisation can go beyond limits. Increase the CPU core and memory which should solve your issue. Thanks, Ashutosh
