We are currently moving to a new data center for our company.
I currently have a mid server in our ster data center and it's moving to our datl data center. The host name and ip address is going to change. Is there any thing I need to do to prepare for this move? Any precautions I should be aware of?
Thanks.

Few things :
When migration happens most of the time it lift and shift. In your case if it is lift and shift then you do not have to worry about anything. Everything should work fine.
Once you move the server, you need to do some checks.
1)Check if the mid server service is running on server.
2)If mid is down then check the agent log. You might see connectivity issues.
3)Some time ifra teams whitlist the mid IP address so that it can talk to infra. In your case if it has changed then you might need inform the infra team about the same.
I hope it helps.

Pratiksha
