I am seeking help to understand the Notes Activity Stream in the Incident form.
I would like to add a comment or worknote with text and an illustration (.jpeg or similar formats) and post this together as one post. The target is to build knowledge to incidents record with a logical structure, where it is possible to create a miks between text and illustrations.
When you create a worknote in Helsinki release, out-of- the-box configuration, you can post text and illustrations - but not together in one post. The illustration and the text is posted as SEPARATED posts (see attached file). When you have a long activity stream with a miks of text and illustrations you loose the overview of with text is related to the illustrations and the activity stream grows unnecessarily larger than necessary becauce of the many separate posts.
Anyone who has an idea that will support my wishes ? - or simply knowledge of to help me closer to an understanding of the architecture, functionality and limits to the Notes Activity Stream.

Hi Palle,
The activity stream formatting was updated to support dynamic updates to journal fields like work notes and comments without doing a complete form submit. Hence the addition of the Post button. Once I understood what was going on and didn't have to submit (and saw live updates from my co-workers) I really liked it.
The formatting changed a bit to make it appear as two separate posts. In reality the attachment isn't really a post, just a rendering in the activity stream.

Hi Chuck,
I have few questions from Activity formatter:
- How to configure the title of Activity stream entries? Let's say it shows 'Short description' as the title and I want to change that to 'Number'.
- On what basis are the entries in Activity stream listed? I checked if it is by recently updated work notes, no its now. What else then?
- Apart from the POST action 'Comment' visible when we hover over the Activity stream entry, can I configure an additional UI Action there? If yes, how?
Regards,
Anish
