If you get something from ServiceNow, please share with the rest of us. Here is one from ITIL: https://wiki.en.it-processmaps.com/index.php/Event_Management#Roles_.7C_Responsibilities , but it is far too generic, IMO, to be of any use. Additionally, it doesn't get into enough details on any of the actual functions that need to be performed. What I've personally found is that each organization needs their own, unique RACI chart that is based on exactly how they have their departments and groups configured, along with how they actually define "Events", "Alerts" and "Incidents" within their company.
For example, I've worked at one client where the only Events sent to ServiceNow were expected to create Incidents. No Alert grouping or anything like that. Additionally, the customer had one group responsible for the Incident Process, and a separate group (under a completely different Director) responsible for creating Event Rules and Alert Management Rules (including the creation of Incidents). This was a challenging environment because the RACI chart could never actually be created due to political issues and organizational behavior.
Another customer had one Director responsible for all monitoring, event handling, and incident creation. At this customer, we built the RACI chart successfully by identifying each technical task that had to be performed (specifically, as it was being performed, we documented it), then documenting the groups associated with each task.
