Our company currently uses Oracle and SAP HANA databases to support the SAP environment. Our Oracle database discovery will populate Oracle Instance class with CIs that contain the SAP ID of the instance running on the server e.g. sap123@serverxyz.
However, HANA database discovery only gives a generic name like SAP HANA@server xyz. It does not specify the SAP ID, so it is hard to link if there are multiple instances running on the same server and all are named SAP HANA.
HANA table cmdb_ci_appl_sap_hana_db does not contain a SID field, but Oracle instance table does.
Has anyone experienced this issue with HANA, and were you able to get HANA discovery to give the SID as part of the instance name instead of a generic name?
