Hello community,
It might be a misunderstanding from our side, but we are wondering if it's possible (or desirable) to link a map to another map, somehow. For instance, can we link a "login" or "authentication" map to many other "application" maps ? Or doesn't it make any sense ?
Best regards

Hi @midjoule
you can link the maps, yes. There are two nice ways to achieve a Map-to-Map connection:
- Manually add a connection
This approach will ask you to enter the details from an entry point, like you would create a new Application Service. This would add all the CIs from the connected Entry point. Disadvantage is that you are forced to specify a discoverable entry point. - Add a CI
It will only as of the desired CIs:
Tell me what you think @midjoule.

Thanks @Manuel Stimac for your clear explanations. We will manage it with the "Add CI" option.
Best regards
