Hello,
I’m working on a Service Mapping project on a cloud service. The service has multiple applications and servers. However, when I click Run Discovery after providing the entry point, nothing is getting mapped out. Only Cloud Web Server is discovered as a generic application. Any suggestion on this?
Thank you in advance!

when you have application takes as SAAS - then ifra components, DBs are not exposed correct.
We only have URL to access it so in this case i doubt we can penetrate the components like dbs, servers etc.
Hope i understood your requirement clearly.
Regards

Hi Rahul,
Thank you for your response. However, our platform is not a SaaS. We own all of the infrastructure.

Is the infrastructure on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud or a combination of any of the cloud infrastructure?
You would start with Discovery if you haven't done this yet:
- AWS Cloud Discovery: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-it-operations-management/page/product/discovery/concept/aws-...
- Azure Cloud Discovery: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-it-operations-management/page/product/discovery/concept/azur...
- Google Cloud Discovery: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/rome-it-operations-management/page/product/service-mapping/refere...
Once you fix issues with the Cloud discovery, proceed to Service Mapping and there can be 2 options depending on how you set up your cloud infrastructure whether it is IaaS or PaaS.
