Hello
Could someone please help with a template which can be used to gather inputs from SMEs to understand the 'edges' of each applications and related config file locations to trace connections.
Thanks

And it's not going work well in this case. What's the business need to map a dynamic application like that?

Industry is Healthcare and we have number of business applications with DevOps in place. So this is like a very common scenario nowadays and have used monitoring tools in earlier projects (which was based on traffic). How do you handle such scenarios and thats the compelling business case for patterns in service mapping,Isn't it?

Got it, Service Mapping is not a real time monitoring tool, so you won't be able to see all changes for dynamic environments.
Hopefully someone else will be able to answer your question.

Though it is somewhat old, it may still be of benefit to someone:
Does anyone have Service Mapping requirements gathering questionnaire (various questions we put to architects, business owners, stakeholders, network, security and database teams) model document in handy?
