ServiceNow Saviynt Integration for Event Management

We are looking to integrate Saviynt with ServiceNow for Event Management. Currently, Saviynt sends email notifications for job failures (Application data import jobs are monitored in Saviynt), but we would like to explore alternative integration methods.

Has anyone have built an integration using REST API, or if there is an existing application available on the ServiceNow Store for this purpose?

Please note: we not need integration to automate access request or account management, only for event management.

Thank You.

Hi Rahul,

You can send events directly to Servicenow event API, check the following documentation:

https://www.servicenow.com/docs/bundle/yokohama-it-operations-management/page/product/event-manageme...

Hi Rahul,

To integrate Saviynt with ServiceNow for event management, you have a couple of options:

  1. Using REST API:

    • You can build a custom integration using REST API to send events from Saviynt to ServiceNow. This involves creating a REST API endpoint in ServiceNow to receive events and configuring Saviynt to send event data to this endpoint.
    • Detailed steps for setting up REST API integration can be found in the ServiceNow documentation on Event Management REST API.
  2. ServiceNow Store Applications:

    • Check if there is an existing application available on the ServiceNow Store that facilitates integration between Saviynt and ServiceNow for event management. You can search the ServiceNow Store for relevant applications and review their features and capabilities.
    • For more information on configuring the Saviynt app for ServiceNow, refer to the Configuring Saviynt App for ServiceNow (V1.0 and V2.0)
      .
  3. Community Discussions:

By exploring these options, you can find the best method to integrate Saviynt with ServiceNow for event management without automating access requests or account management.

If you believe the solution provided has adequately addressed your query, could you please **mark it as 'Helpful'** and **'Accept it as a Solution'**? This will help other community members who might have the same question find the answer more easily.

Thank you for your consideration.
