SQLSysClrTypes.msi and SharedManagementObjects.msi are licensed and payable?

Hello All,

For MSSQL discovery we need to install SQLSysClrTypes.msi and SharedManagementObjects.msi in MID server.

Do we need to get any license or purchase those to install in MID Server?

Hi,

you don't need any additional license for those files, you simply need to download and install it in your MID Server, follow these links:

This is definitely helpful, however the MID servers usually sit within customer (private) NW.
The above installer on the other hand requires internet access.

This presents quite a challenge to install the libraries.
It would be nice to have these libraries as part of the MID server package.
Have you faced this or similar situation and do you  see any workaround ?
