Team,
We are running discovery project & need to discover different type of Storages in ServiceNow. Client have not configured SMI-S but they have native Storage Management Applications.
EMC Unisphere 1.3.9.0184 - VNX
HUAWEI System Device Manager
HPE - SSMC
Can we discover it using above or SMI-S is only option.

ServiceNow Discovery can explore storage devices that contain a Storage Management Initiative Specif.... SMI-S is a standard protocol for managing storage devices and provides a common interface for differ....
However, SMI-S is not the only option for discovering storage devices. ServiceNow Discovery can also use the Service Location Protocol (SLP) to find CIM servers on the net.... SLP is part of the Storage Management Initiative (SMI) and is required for CIM Discovery.
Alternatively, you can also use SNMP Discovery to get minimal data on the storage devices, such as n.... SNMP Discovery does not require SMI-S or CIM, but it may not provide as much detail as the other met....
To discover storage devices using any of these methods, you need to configure some Discovery Credentials and Discovery Schedules in ServiceNow. You can find more information on how to do that in the following links:
